This is a mains powered version of the 100m Kit and includes the new Hotline Gemini 120 Dual Power Energiser. This will save any worry about the battery running low but the energiser unit does have to be housed under cover with access to mains supply when used as a mains system.
We have included here the new dual power energiser from Hotline as a mains energiser but it can also be used as a battery energiser for a 12v battery - so if you change your mind or find you cannot use mains anymore, simply add a 12v battery tot he system and then the energsier can be placed outside (on a wall or post) near to the fence. The Gemini 120 is a new generation of energiser which makimises the power available as well as the ability to use with both mains or 12v battery (note: it will not automatically switch from one to the other it must be changed over manually). The Gemini 120 could power up to 5 x 50m nets so extending your system is a simple as adding more nets.

This kit includes 2 x 50m Poultry Nets, each with 15 posts, plus 10 extra black Netting Posts to keep the net taut especially over sloping or uneven ground. This will cover an area of approx. 625sq m (roughly 80ft x 80ft in a square).

If your ground is uneven or sloping it may be worth adding more Black Flexi Posts which also avoids the frustration of never having a post in quite the right place, although each net comes with 15 posts (plus the 10 extra in the kit) this may not be enough in all situations, select from the link below. There is a post inserted approx 1m from the end of the net to make a gateway into the pen. By using this section of the net as your entry point in and out of the pen you will prevent a lot of wear and tear on the main net.

Spare guy ropes, Netting Repair Kits and galvanised anchoring pegs are also available separately.

This 100m (2 x 50m Green Nets) Electric Netting Kit uses a Hotline Falcon Energiser which is also suitable for many other farm uses such as electric sheep nets or electrified cattle wire.

We recommend you use only 12v Energisers with 50m+ poultry netting as lower voltages will not put enough 'oomph' through the longer lengths of netting.

The Falcon Energiser should be powered by a 12v Re-chargeable Leisure 85 amp/hr Battery (not included in this kit but available separately, use link below) and the battery charge should last approx 4 weeks - we do recommend that the battery is charged every two weeks though in order to keep it in best condition. We suggest a 12v leisure battery is always used as these are meant to be discharged fully and re-charged whereas a car battery is not. You could also source these locally cheaper than we can send them to you, usually from caravan shops or some motor shops - make sure it is a 12v 85amp/hr leisure battery though.

The Falcon has an output of 1.5 joules, an on/off switch, and has low and high power options, so could power four 50m nets on high which makes extending the kit easy by just adding another net. We have included 10 extra black Flexi-Posts to help keep the net taut especially over sloping or uneven ground. These two 50m nets will cover an area of approx. 625 sq m (approx 80ft x 80ft as a square).

A very useful addition to poultry netting to help with the tensioning by placing it in the netting where it changes direction.

A flexible black post from 19mm PVC with a heavy duty 180mm double spike. Slightly taller than the netting to lift the top line and get the net as taut as possible.
