The Electric Fencing Kits website uses a secure payment server company called Sage Pay to manage it's credit/debit card payments and this ensures both your security and ours. As you go through the checkout process, and choose to confirm your order, you will be taken to the 'Sage Pay' payment page and will notice the padlock symbol in the address bar. Here you can select which card to use, or Paypal, complete you card details in complete security, your address details will already entered for you.
When the order is placed at our website through SagePay, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site and but we do not hold your credit card details on any computer. You will be asked to confirm the payment and the order completion notification is sent to us. You will then receive an email from Sage Pay (and Paypal if selected) saying the payment has been made, and an email from us saying we have received your order. Please check all details are correct. If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder or call us to make sure the order completed.
Depending on which card you are using to make you payment, you may be asked to complete the 3D secure process (Mastercard Securecard or Verified by Visa). This is simply another layer of security that is now being adopted for many on-line payment systems and is like using a PIN in a shop. If not already registered to use the Securecard, you can create a password which you can use every time you use a website with Securecard. This password is then used to authenticate the payment directly with your bank - security for you, security for us.
If you are experiencing problems making a payment please check you have entered your email address correctly (with no spaces and the ISP spelled correctly, most payment errors are due to this problem), and that your name, address and particularly postcode are correct. If this still does not resolve the problem please call Anne on 01300 345229 (before you get too frustrated) - or even if you don't feel safe ordering on-line just call.
