A small compact fence tester which can be attached to a key ring. Makes a sound to indicate if the fence is switched on and has a flashing neon indicator light too. Battery powered.

This fence tester is now included in many of our kits as standard.

This neon tester not only shows if there is power on the line but also the strength/voltage. The tester is operated by simply pushing the metal earth probe into the ground and the copper loop at the top of the tester is placed on the fencing line.

Shows voltage on six levels 1,000 to 10,000. The 6 neon lights give an indication of the voltage on the fence line. As a guide if electrified netting is showing 2-3,000 volts that is OK; for high tensile wire it should be over 5-6,000 volts, and for polywire or rope, again 3 lights is good.
