The Wolseley Bug SX 250 Solar Energiser is a small solar powered fencer with its own internal battery as well being able to use 2 x D Cell batteries for times wqhen there is just not enough sunlight. It stands on its own earth stake (included).

For use on short runs of temporary fencing, ideal for strip grazing. It has an internal NiMH battery pack which the solar panel will charge and then you can insert 2 x D Cell Batteries, included with this unit, as backup. It has a simple ON/OFF button on the base. The casing is UV stabilised polypropylene and the solar panel is a high efficiency monocrystalline type on tempered glass to enusre long life.

The Wolseley Solar SX300 is quite a powerful energiser for its diminutive size. It combines solar power, rechargeable batteries and back-up replaceable C cell batteries (not included) to ensure the continued operation of the electric fence even at night and on cloudy days. Comes complete with its own earth stake.

Suitable for use with shorter electric fences for cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens. Can be used with polytape, polywire, galvansied wre or netting. When using the solar option it can run for 12 months without needing to change the C cell batteries. It has a night time energy saving feature and indicator lights to show solar output and battery condition.

This unit has been tested for use with 25m and 50m poultry nets and found to be very efficient although we would recommend that during the shorter daylight days it would be mostly using the back-up batteries.
